Royal International School in Rome, Italy, opened in September 2023 and now welcomes students from twelve nationalities. The school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum from Foundation Stage (ages 3–5) through Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS Levels, and Cambridge A Levels (to age 19). All subjects are taught in English. Foundation Stage uses Montessori-inspired, activity-based learning; Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary emphasize inquiry-based learning and core subject mastery; Cambridge Secondary and IGCSE prepare students for increasingly rigorous study, with IGCSE and A Level examinations held in June–July and October–November. The school offers specialized streams in Commerce, Science, and Arts.
