British American Pre-School and Bilingual European School (BAPS-BES) is located in Milan. BAPS-BES offers a continuous bilingual educational pathway in English and Italian for students aged 2 to 18. In the early years, the school follows the English Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), seamlessly transitioning into the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) during primary school. Instruction adopts a 50/50 language model, ensuring full immersion in both languages. The school replaces traditional classrooms with open learning landscapes, encouraging students to actively interact with their environment. A distinctive feature of BES is the integration of the Bruno Munari® Method within the Art and Technology department, which teaches creativity and visual communication through hands-on observation and experimentation. Furthermore, students can engage in practical science and engineering applications through Lego Education and Robotics, building real robots and programming their own video games using Scratch.
