Languages taught include English (language of instruction), Italian (taught as native language in Italy and as a second language for international students), French and Spanish as additional languages. In Primary, Italian is used for Humanities, Arts and Citizenship while STEM is taught in English, following the Cambridge curriculum. The language provision supports English proficiency at exit level B1/B2 in Lower Secondary. Language certifications offered include Cambridge English (PET, FCE, CAE, Proficiency, IELTS), DELE for Spanish, DELF for French, and CILS for Italian as a foreign language.
Vittoria Schools Torino uses a bilingual education model across its programs. In Primary School, the Italian national programme runs alongside the Cambridge International Education curriculum in a blended model, with English and Italian taught in different subject areas; Humanities, Arts and Citizenship are taught in Italian, while STEM is taught in English. Lower Secondary is bilingual, alternating between the MIUR curriculum and Cambridge Lower Secondary, with a final Lower Secondary diploma that ensures English proficiency (exit level B1/B2) and complements the Italian Middle School Diploma. Upper Secondary International School delivers all subjects in English by qualified native or bilingual teachers, with Italian literature taught in Italian.
Language stays are offered as part of the co-curricular program to deepen language immersion. The upper secondary program delivers an English-language curriculum with Italian, French and Spanish available as additional languages, and students can pursue a second foreign language (French or Spanish) to reach B2 level. Afternoon language-enhancement courses and language stays support immersion, with internationally recognized language certifications available (Cambridge English, DELE, DELF, CILS). These immersion features are complemented by opportunities to study Italian literature in Italian across the Upper Secondary programme.
