After-school activities include a homework club from 4 PM to 5 PM to consolidate classroom learning. Computer coding is offered to develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills. English and Spanish language courses support bilingual development.
Music classes are offered group and individual. Hip hop dance and expressive art courses provide outlets for creativity. An expressive arts program supports visual and performing arts.
English is heavily integrated into early grades, with about 75% of classes taught in English in first grade. From second through fifth grade, English and Italian are taught about equally, at roughly 50% of classes each. Spanish begins in second grade as part of the bilingual program.
After-school clubs offer Yoga, Multisport in English, Hip hop, music, and expressive arts to promote social interaction. Students can participate in group activities and collaborate on projects. The Homework Club supports study and peer cooperation after the school day.
The daily schedule runs 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a pre-school service from 8:00 AM and an after-school service until 6:00 PM. A Homework Club runs from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM to support continued learning. After-school clubs provide structured, supervised activities that support wellbeing and family flexibility.
YIES School is a private bilingual IB World School for ages 3 to 14, located in Vedano al Lambro, Monza e Brianza, near Parco di Monza. The two‑level campus has a main entrance with ample family parking, a lower level for sport, science and art spaces, and an upper level housing classrooms and offices. The program combines a bilingual Italian–English curriculum with Spanish as a vehicle language from Grade 3; Spanish also becomes a language of instruction in geography, history and science from Grade 3. Learning is concept‑based, experiential and interdisciplinary, with coding, robotics and design integrated into daily work. Math follows the Innovamat method to deepen conceptual understanding, and the SEL laboratory supports social‑emotional development. The school is part of the Becoming Education network, focused on bilingualism, experiential learning and well‑being. Extracurriculars include Coding, Hip Hop and music in English, expressive arts and Cambridge language certifications, plus Homework Club.
