Application and Admission Fees
Kazakhstan International School Astana (KIS Astana) charges a one-time application and assessment fee during the admissions process. A non-refundable admission fee and a reservation deposit are also required after acceptance to secure a student’s place.

Early Childhood Programme: approximately KZT 4,700,000–6,100,000 per year, around KZT 1,567,000–2,033,000 per term
Kindergarten: approximately KZT 7,300,000 per year, around KZT 2,433,000 per term
Grades 1–2: approximately KZT 10,100,000 per year, around KZT 3,367,000 per term

Billing Schedule and Payment Terms
Tuition fees are generally payable in three instalments during the academic year. Reservation deposits are credited toward tuition fees after enrolment confirmation. Fees are invoiced in KZT using the exchange rate applicable on the payment date.
Boarding Fees
KIS Astana is a day school and does not provide boarding facilities.
Other Costs and Fees
Additional costs may include uniforms, transportation, school lunches, extracurricular activities, external examination fees, and optional educational trips. These charges are billed separately from tuition.
Refund Information
Application and admission fees are non-refundable. Reservation deposits may also be non-refundable if withdrawal occurs after acceptance or confirmation of enrolment.

Kazakhstan International School Astana offers the International Baccalaureate continuum (PYP, MYP, and DP) in Astana's EXPO area. The DP follows six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts, with three Higher Level and three Standard Level subjects, plus Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, and Service. KIS Astana plans an inquiry-led, globally minded curriculum from Early Years through to DP, with PYP in Kindergarten through Grade 5 and MYP in Grades 6-10. The 2024 campus provides indoor and outdoor spaces, including an artificial football pitch, a running track, a tennis court, two indoor pools, a large sports hall, and dedicated spaces for Music, Art, Dance, and Physical Education. After-school options feature Football, Karate, Robotics, Drama, Chess, Dombra, and languages. The school emphasizes a multilingual, culturally diverse community with English as the medium of instruction and a planned Parent-Teacher Association.
