Kazakhstan International School Astana offers the International Baccalaureate continuum (PYP, MYP, and DP) in Astana's EXPO area. The DP follows six subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, and the Arts, with three Higher Level and three Standard Level subjects, plus Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, and Service. KIS Astana plans an inquiry-led, globally minded curriculum from Early Years through to DP, with PYP in Kindergarten through Grade 5 and MYP in Grades 6-10. The 2024 campus provides indoor and outdoor spaces, including an artificial football pitch, a running track, a tennis court, two indoor pools, a large sports hall, and dedicated spaces for Music, Art, Dance, and Physical Education. After-school options feature Football, Karate, Robotics, Drama, Chess, Dombra, and languages.
