Ambleside Stawi International School is a nurturing learning community in Ngong, Kerarapon Drive 19. Early years learning is rooted in Charlotte Mason's philosophy, with a living curriculum featuring living books, nature study, hands-on exploration, and meaningful work; as students grow, the Cambridge curriculum is introduced in the senior years. The school currently welcomes children aged 3 to 6 years for Kindergarten and aims to grow organically by adding a new class each year. It is an active member of the Ambleside Schools International network. Community enrichment initiatives include Friday Messy Play Date, where children engage in activities such as finger painting, sensory bins, and play dough sculpting. Homeschool Fridays invite homeschoolers for a day of connection, arts and crafts, and swimming. A Bible Club takes place every Saturday at the school premises, offering stories, songs, memory verses, and group activities to explore foundational truths of the Christian faith.
Ambleside Stawi International School serves students aged 3 to 18 with a Bespoke Curriculum supported by Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A Levels. The Kindergarten (ages 3–6) uses Froebel-inspired play-based discovery while laying a rigorous academic pathway for later years. Primary Years (Year 1–8) follow a Cambridge transition with a Charlotte Mason-inspired approach, with an IGCSE pathway fully established by Year 9 and a strong preparation for IGCSE exams in Year 11 and A-Levels in Years 12–13. Core subjects—math, literacy, science, history, geography—are taught alongside arts, music, and nature studies, with learning anchored in living books, discussion, and real-world applications. The program emphasizes small classes, character development, and faith within a literature-rich curriculum. Regular time outdoors and hands-on learning, nature study, and integrated arts support practical understanding. The school also fosters community through activities such as a Bible Club and family-focused events, enriching partnerships with parents and the wider community. This combination prepares students for educational opportunities and engagement in international contexts.
