Greensteds International School offers a holistic education based on the British National Curriculum from Early Years to A-Level. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), and by the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), the London College of Music (LCM) and ABRSM, and is a member of the Kenya Association of Independent International Schools (KAIIS). Greensteps develops partnerships with Kenya Wildlife Service, Kamili Trust and Born Free. Sixth Form participates in service-learning with the rest of the school. Head of Sixth Form projects and Greensteds Day provide opportunities for leadership and community involvement.
There are leadership roles such as sports captains, house captains, peer counseling, mentoring and the prefect team. The Sixth Form life includes leadership projects like the Head Master's Project (HMPr) and events such as Greensteds Day. External university fairs and career information are available as part of the Sixth Form experience.
Pastoral care is provided through personal relationships with teaching staff, and a Medical Centre offers 24/7 service led by a Clinical Officer and two nurses. Dorm Masters and tutors support students with pastoral care, academic monitoring and enrichment. A healthy diet is provided on-site and during trips. Learning Support provides inclusion and enrichment, with early identification and individualized support for learners.
