History

The school is a co-educational day and boarding school offering a British Curriculum-based education for students from Early Years to A-Level. It was established in 1936. It is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), the London College of Music (LCM) and ABRSM, and it is a member of the Kenya Association of Independent International Schools (KAIIS). The Seven Pillars of Greensteds are Opportunity, Care, Community, Challenge, Diversity, Dedication and Respect, reinforced within an international community. Greensteds is located 16 km from Nakuru, 140 km from Nairobi.

Community

The school has an Alumni Association. Members come from a variety of nationalities. The Alumni Association partners with Greensteds in Colloquium talks, networking initiatives, fundraising activities, internships and a mentorship programme. Membership is automatic for graduates. Greensteds International School is a co-educational day and boarding school in Kenya offering British education from Early Years to A-Levels.
