Jalaram Academy, located in Kisumu, Kenya, offers the British curriculum from nursery to upper secondary. The Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage; Primary uses Pearson Edexcel i-Primary for Years 1–6, with subjects including French, Religion, Social Studies, Music, PSHE, P.E., Swimming, Computing, Global Citizenship, Science, Mathematics and English. By end of Year 6 students sit i-primary Edexcel exams in Numeracy, Literacy, Science, Computing and Global Citizenship. The Senior Section (Years 7–13) follows the British National Curriculum with IGCSE in Years 9–11 and AS/IAL and A-level options (21 subjects). The school is accredited by Pearson Edexcel and ABRSM. Three languages are offered in the primary years, with Year 9 students able to select up to two. Sports facilities include a football pitch, tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, volleyball/throw-ball pitch, and more; inter-house competitions run weekly. Distinctive programs include Model United Nations, Kenya Science and Engineering Fair participation, and a Music program with ABRSM examinations.
