Premier Academy Nairobi is a co-educational day school offering an adapted British National Curriculum for students aged 2½ to 19 years. It has over 30 years of excellence with a team of more than 100 educators. The school is located along Prof. Wangari Maathai Road, Nairobi. The CEO/Principal is Mr. Chinmoy Banerjee, who leads with a focus on holistic development and preparing students to contribute to the global community. The school emphasizes achievement in international examinations and a broad program spanning academics, sports, the arts, and counselling.
Premier Academy engages its community through CSR initiatives under Transforming Lives Through Education, focusing on expanding access to education for underprivileged children. An ongoing Premier Outreach Club leads yearly charity work, including sponsoring students, providing books, water tanks, fencing, and classroom renovations. Current projects include Shamah Splendid High School in Kibera and Tumaini African Foundation in Soweto, among others, plus food donations and menstrual-health initiatives. Family engagement events such as Grandparent Day strengthen school-community ties.
Premier Academy PTA acts as the bridge between the School and Parents. The PTA is chaired by Ms. Jacqueline Aseka, with an Executive Committee including a Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and representatives from every school section. The committee sponsors activities such as the Kindergarten Medical Camp, Prep School and Kindergarten Movie Night, the Travelling Telescope Stargazing Experience, Coffee with the Counsellors, and the distribution of customized notebooks to students. Premier Academy Nairobi is a co-educational day school delivering an adapted British National Curriculum for students aged 2½ to 19 years. Located along Prof. Wangari Maathai Road, Nairobi, it draws on 30 years of experience with a team of over 100 educators. The curriculum follows the Cambridge framework within the British system. In Prep School (Key Stages 1 and 2), pupils study English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, and Kiswahili, with French and Spanish introduced from Year 3; Cambridge Primary assessments are taken annually. Middle School (Years 7–9) follows Cambridge Lower Secondary, while High School (Years 10–13) offers IGCSE with nine subjects plus core English, English Literature, and a Modern Foreign Language, and AS/A-Levels. The campus features six computer laboratories and nine science laboratories, along with libraries, a computerized resource centre, and three swimming pools, plus cricket, hockey, football pitches, and a basketball court. ECO-ONE and clubs support the holistic, global-minded program.
