Founded in 2018 by Peter Karoki, who became a shareholder, Woodcreek School began with 15 students in its first term and had fewer than 50 students by the end of the first academic year. The founder explains that he started the school after being invited to join as a shareholder and pursuing an international curriculum vision, resulting in Woodcreek School's birth. The campus is located in Kiambu County along Kamiti Road. The five-year milestone is documented in the 5th Anniversary Newsletter (2018–2023) and reflects the school's growth and plans for expansion.
Woodcreek School's campus sits in Kiambu County on a 30-acre site, approximately 30 minutes from Nairobi CBD and 40 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, and features classrooms, laboratories, music rooms, a library, sports facilities and a swimming pool. The surrounding local community offers museums, art galleries, theatres, shopping malls, hospitals, churches and parks, and students engage in service projects and internships to promote civic engagement.
Woodcreek School is a day and boarding institution in Kiambu County, Kenya, serving pupils aged 2 to 18. It follows the British national curriculum from early years through high school and is accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education, enabling access to IGCSE, GCE A-Levels and BTEC examinations. The school also offers EYFS and a Bespoke Curriculum option.
