Model United Nations is offered for students in grades 7-12; students can attend MUN conferences across Europe in cities such as Paris, Madrid, Budapest, Copenhagen, London, Prague, and Istanbul. Delegates attend lunchtime meetings, research their assigned country and topics, and prepare position papers, speeches and resolutions for use at the conference. The Global Issues Network (GIN) empowers students to address contemporary global issues through collaboration and student-led projects, culminating in an ISL-organised annual GIN Conference where participants from diverse schools share approaches and outcomes.
Choir (Grades 1-12) is offered and performs several times a year, with no audition required for membership. Band (Grades 4-12) begins in Grade 4 after recorder study, with many fourth graders joining and opportunities to audition for AMIS festivals. Theatre supports in-class devising and performing and offers upper-school auditions for plays and musicals, with leadership roles behind the scenes; Dramaworks provides LAMDA certificates. Visual Arts offers Art Club (Grades 2-5), Digital Art Club (Grades 6-8), and High School Art Club (Grades 9-12).

Dramaworks private drama classes offer additional drama training and lead to LAMDA certificates. Choir and Band provide regular performance experiences and ensemble opportunities. The theatre programme includes co-curricular productions with leadership roles such as backstage management, sound, lighting, costumes and set design.
Duke of Edinburgh's Award (Mérite Jeunesse) launched at ISL in 2007. It is open to students aged 14 and over (Grades 9-12) and provides a framework for service, skills and sport in a non-competitive environment, including an adventurous journey that builds navigational skills and teamwork.
Model United Nations develops leadership, public speaking and collaboration through conference participation. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award fosters leadership and project-management skills through a structured programme. Theatre productions offer student leadership roles behind the scenes, including backstage manager, sound, lighting, costumes, set design and makeup.
ISL's Sports Programme emphasizes participation, cooperation and good sportsmanship, and promotes physical, social and mental well-being. The programme is divided into Lower School sports clubs and NECIS (G4 to G12) competitive team sports, with ISL's teams known as The Eagles.
International School of Luxembourg (ISL) is a coeducational international school for ages 3 to 18, located at 36 Boulevard Pierre Dupong in Luxembourg. The campus serves Early Years, Primary, Middle and High School, with most students in the High School pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. ISL also offers Cambridge IGCSE in Grades 9–10 and is pursuing MYP authorization, with Grades 6–8 currently following the MYP framework. In High School, students may undertake the ISL Diploma and IB Course Certificates in addition to IB Diploma, including Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service. Languages taught include English, French, German and Spanish, with French in Grades 6–10 and opportunities for additional languages. Facilities include dedicated Lower and Upper School libraries, digital learning resources, music, theatre and visual arts, and a broad sports program with NECIS. Activities include Model United Nations, Global Issues Network and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
