Billing schedule and payment terms (how fees are charged and instalment options)

- Invoices for annual school fees are issued once the annual enrolment contract is submitted; fees become contractually binding on signature of the enrolment agreement.

- Two authorized payment plans for the Total Annual School Fees:
- Standard instalment plan: at least 67% of the total annual fees is due by 30 June; the remaining 33% is due by 1 February.
- Example instalment amounts (Standard plan):
- Foundations to Grade 1 (Total EUR 20,480): EUR 13,721.60 due by 30 June; EUR 6,758.40 due 1 February.
- Grade 2–5 (Total EUR 22,118): EUR 14,819.06 due by 30 June; EUR 7,298.94 due 1 February.
- Grade 6–8 (Total EUR 24,005): EUR 16,083.35 due by 30 June; EUR 7,921.65 due 1 February.
- Grade 9–12 (Total EUR 24,226): EUR 16,231.42 due by 30 June; EUR 7,994.58 due 1 February.
- Quarterly instalment plan: four equal instalments on the following due dates — 1 June, 1 September, 1 December and 1 March. Setting up a standing order is strongly encouraged if you choose this option.

The school provides a month-by-month percentage table showing the percentage of annual tuition payable depending on the month of registration.

Refunds, withdrawal and cancellation terms

- School fees are contractually binding once the enrolment agreement is signed, even if an invoice has not yet been received or no attendance occurs. Tuition fees and other fees are not reimbursed if the school must close or delay entry due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

- Early withdrawal / registration cancellation rules (high-level):
- Notification must be in formal written form to the Business Office (options provided for submission). Any outstanding balance at departure will result in records being withheld.
- If withdrawal or cancellation is notified on or before 30 June, the Stability Reserve (returning students) and Entry fees (new students) remain owed and are non-refundable.
- Past 30 June, the registered student will forfeit and owe the full Annual School Growth fee and Stability fee and will also owe a percentage of Annual Tuition Fees depending on the date of notification and departure. The school uses pivot dates (30 June, 30 November and 31 December) and a month‑by‑month percentage schedule to determine the tuition percentage owed.

Fee payment options and practical payment instructions

- Annual school fees: to be paid by bank transfer to the school's account. When making the transfer, include the customer reference and invoice number in the payment reference. The bank recommended for payments is Banque et Caisse d'Epargne de l'Etat (BCEE) with account details supplied to families on invoices.

- Activities, cafeteria purchases and other online payments: pre‑paid online by credit card through the school platforms (MyLunch, SchoolsBuddy). The school encourages setting a standing order for the quarterly instalment plan. A Third Party Authorisation form is available for company/third‑party payers.

- The school reserves the right to delay entry, withhold records, charge interest on overdue accounts or initiate collection procedures for outstanding balances.

International School of Luxembourg (ISL) is a coeducational international school for ages 3 to 18, located at 36 Boulevard Pierre Dupong in Luxembourg. The campus serves Early Years, Primary, Middle and High School, with most students in the High School pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. ISL also offers Cambridge IGCSE in Grades 9–10 and is pursuing MYP authorization, with Grades 6–8 currently following the MYP framework. In High School, students may undertake the ISL Diploma and IB Course Certificates in addition to IB Diploma, including Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service.
