Admissions requirements: Pre-School students must be 3 years old by September 1 of the entry year and potty-trained before starting. Primary (Grades 1–5) entry requires turning 6 by December 31 of the school year. Secondary (Grades 6–11) entry requires turning 11 by December 31 of the school year. How to apply: 1. Fill in the online admission form. This form is for information only and does not imply any contractual or financial commitment with the school; the Admissions Department will contact you to arrange a visit and provide further information. 2. Start your application; during your visit, you will be guided through the admissions process and provided with necessary information. 3. OTR Scholarships: three full scholarships are available for IB entry (one for Grade 10; two for Grade 11 and the IB Diploma Programme). Each covers 100% of tuition fees through the completion of the IB Diploma Programme. Eligibility requires a strong academic record, commitment to learning and global-mindedness, fluent English (minimum B2), a good level of French, and willingness to engage in all IB components including the Core. To maintain the scholarship, students must achieve at least 6/7 in every IB subject and complete the IB Core to a high standard; the scholarship covers tuition, IB textbooks and learning materials, IB examination fees, school uniform, and a laptop; meals, trips, and extracurricular activities are not included, and boarding/accommodation is not offered. Applications must be submitted by 29/05/2026 with Student CV, a motivation letter, official transcripts from the last two academic years, and a copy of ID or passport; email admissions@otrschool.lu with the subject line “OTR Scholarship”; feedback will be provided within two school weeks.
OTR International School in Luxembourg is a private, non‑profit international school affiliated with the Luxembourg Ministry of National Education. It serves preschool through secondary and teaches in English and French, with native‑speaking teachers. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is delivered in G1–G5 as a bilingual 50/50 program through co‑teaching and language rotation, with specialist courses in Theatre, Visual Arts, Sports/PE, Computer Science and Library. The PYP aims to develop curious, ethical and reflective learners and to prepare students for the MYP. Middle School follows the IB MYP, and High School the IB Diploma Programme (DP), including the DP core (TOK, Creativity, Activity, Service, Extended Essay) with HL/SL options.
