The school offers its curriculum in English and French. Primary students in G1–G5 study English and French with 50% of learning time devoted to each language. From Grade 5, a third language (Spanish or German) is introduced. The school provides language support for non-native English or French speakers.
OTR International School is a bilingual English and French institution. In the Primary School (G1–G5), learning is split 50% French and 50% English, with lessons coordinated by a co-teaching and language-rotation model that supports balanced acquisition of both languages. The curriculum emphasizes bilingual proficiency across subjects within the IB PYP framework. From Grade 5, students begin a third language of their choice: Spanish or German.
Primary-year learning includes interdisciplinary bilingual projects that connect English and French concepts. As soon as students reach Grade 5, a third language (Spanish or German) is introduced. After-school daycare activities use French or English as the language of communication, reinforcing bilingual practice.
OTR International School in Luxembourg is a private, non‑profit international school affiliated with the Luxembourg Ministry of National Education. It serves preschool through secondary and teaches in English and French, with native‑speaking teachers. The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is delivered in G1–G5 as a bilingual 50/50 program through co‑teaching and language rotation, with specialist courses in Theatre, Visual Arts, Sports/PE, Computer Science and Library. The PYP aims to develop curious, ethical and reflective learners and to prepare students for the MYP.
