Ardence Achievers Scholarship 2024 offers two categories: Single Excellent Core Subject Scholarship (10% discount) and Three Excellent Core Subjects Scholarship (50% discount). Recipients must maintain an A grade (80 marks) in the relevant subjects and participate in school events and leadership activities.
1. Make an Application. Admission into Ardence International Secondary School is by assessment and interview. Submit an Admission Form with supporting documents to the Admission Department at the Registration Office. Malaysian applicants provide three passport photos of the student, birth certificate, MyKid/MyKad, one photo of each parent, copies of parents' passports or ICs, previous school report, school leaving certificate, and medical certificates/immunization records. International applicants provide eight passport photos of the student, birth certificate/family certificate (English version)/notarial certificate, passport, four parent photos, copies of parents' passports or IC/notarial certificate, parent's marriage certificate (English version)/notarial certificate, visas (if relevant), work permits (if relevant), and confirmation of employment letter. 2. Entrance Assessment. Online Placement Test (Entrance Assessment). Once the Admission Form and required documents are submitted, the applicant is scheduled for the placement test. The assessment is conducted online via tablet/desktop computer, comprising English Language, Mathematics and Science, and lasts two hours for Secondary. The purpose is to evaluate strengths in basic subjects, particularly English, to enable access to the full English-medium curriculum. 3. Application Review & Offer of Place. Assessed applications are reviewed taking into account the results of the assessment, school reports, subject options (IGCSE/IB Diploma), English ability level, behaviour, and availability of places. The School reserves the right to assign priorities for admission or refuse admission for any reason; where places are insufficient, applicants remain on the queue. If the application is successful, an offer of place is made. An offer of admission is based on the belief that the child will benefit from the curriculum and support the education of existing students. 4. Admission. Upon receiving payment or letter of financial guarantee confirming acceptance, the School will communicate the start date and provide details for the first day. Admission is dependent on satisfactory entrance assessment results, the outcome of the interview, and available places. The offer letter has a 30-day validity. All fees must be fully settled and an official receipt produced for registration to be completed.
Ardence Achievers Scholarship 2024 is open to students seeking admission to Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10. There are two categories: Single Excellent Core Subject Scholarship and Three Excellent Core Subjects Scholarship. Single Excellent Core Subject Scholarship provides a 10% discount on tuition for exceptional performance in one core subject (English, Mathematics or Science) with a minimum grade of A (80 marks) in the chosen subject maintained throughout the year. Three Excellent Core Subjects Scholarship provides a 50% discount on tuition for excellence in all three core subjects with minimum grade A (80 marks) in all three maintained throughout the year. Scholarship recipients are expected to participate in school events, take leadership roles in at least one activity, and develop public speaking skills. To apply for the scholarship, students should complete the regular admission process and submit an additional essay detailing academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, leadership experience, and their interest in the scholarship. Selection is based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, leadership potential, and essay submission; recipients are notified by email and receive further instructions. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year and may be renewed by meeting the specified criteria; it may be revoked for unsatisfactory performance. The decision of the scholarship committee is final; the scholarship holds no cash value and is non-transferable. Ardence International Secondary School reserves the right to modify or terminate the scholarship program anytime.
