Early Years welcomes students from age 4 into Reception, following the English National Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Primary Years (ages 5-11) use a two Key Stage structure with a scaffolded subject-led curriculum including English, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Art, Malay Language, Social Studies, Mandarin/French, Music, Drama, Islamic Studies/PSHE, and Physical Education, based on the English National Curriculum for primary schools. Secondary Years (Year 7-11) focus on CAIE Checkpoint at the end of Key Stage 3 and Cambridge IGCSE at Key Stage 4, with subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, ICT, Geography, History, Mandarin/French, World History, Art & Design, Music, Drama, Islamic Studies/PSHE, and Physical Education; the Learner Profile underpins learning with Analytical, Globally Aware, Resolute, Empathetic, Digitally Intelligent, Inquisitive, Holistic and Self-sufficient, Creative & Innovative, and Ethical traits.
Cambridge Primary Music is offered in Primary Years, and Cambridge Primary Art and Design is offered in Primary Years. Lower Secondary includes Art & Design and Music as part of the Cambridge curriculum, with Music described as fostering leadership, collaboration and self-confidence. The arts curriculum emphasizes creative expression, collaboration and the development of performance and design skills across year groups.
Mandarin is taught throughout the school and is available at three levels. In Primary, Mandarin/French is listed among core subjects, and Year 5 onward may opt to take French in place of Mandarin. In Secondary, Mandarin/French appears in Year 7-9 subjects and Mandarin and French remain available as electives in Year 10-11. Lower Secondary Mandarin is taught at multiple levels to support progression.
The enrichment programme offers opportunities for competitions locally, nationally and internationally, expanding learning beyond the classroom. Students have achieved international awards such as The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition, the Immerse Essay Competition and the Eurasian Spelling Bee. Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School caters to students aged 4 to 16 and follows the Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, and IGCSE programs.
