Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School became part of the Beaconhouse group in November 2005. Initially, the school offered the Malaysian National Curriculum before transitioning to being an International School. The Beaconhouse group is a large private school network that was first established in Pakistan in 1975 and has since expanded to several other countries.
The school fosters a sense of community through a variety of events that involve students, and sometimes parents. These include inter-house competitions like a Poetry Slam and a Senior Swimming Gala, as well as school-wide events such as a "Parent and Child Badminton Competition." The school also participates in events with other Beaconhouse schools, such as the Beaconhouse International Student Convention (BISC).
The school encourages parental involvement and maintains open communication, though it does not appear to have a formal Parent Teacher Association (PTA) in the traditional sense. Instead, the school facilitates parent engagement through regular "Coffee Mornings," where parents can hear about school plans, discuss issues, and share ideas. There are also regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (three times a year) to discuss academic progress, and the school uses the ClassDojo app to facilitate direct communication between parents and teachers.
Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School caters to students aged 4 to 16 and follows the Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, and IGCSE programs. The campus is equipped with a swimming pool, a multipurpose hall, courts for futsal, basketball, and badminton, and dedicated labs for science and computing. Students have access to a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, performing arts, and academic clubs such as robotics and the World Scholars program.
