The school features an adult-size football field measuring 50×90 meters with spectator seating and canopy coverage. A basketball court at the Grandstand and a rubberized, 13×26 meter Multi-Purpose Court support a range of sports, including basketball, netball, volleyball and badminton. The rooftop in the New Building is an event space for up to 200 people, with lighting, power and Wi‑Fi. The School Hall (ground floor of Building A) seats up to 100, while Mutiara Hall and Pearl Hall in the New Building accommodate up to 160 people each, with carpeting, air conditioning, smart boards, projectors and PA systems; they can be used jointly for larger events and do not permit food or beverages. The classrooms in the New Building come with Wi‑Fi and multimedia learning equipment, and the rooftop serves as an open event space for extracurricular activities.
Sport is an integral part of the MIGS experience, with a broad range of competitive and recreational sports offered from Reception to Year 11. The school uses a basketball court, a football field and a School Hall, and provides transport to access additional facilities off-campus. Junior School sports include basketball, tennis, silat, CodeCombat programming, taekwondo, karate, football, badminton, futsal, swimming and padel; Senior School offers tennis, basketball, boxing, badminton, football, table tennis, swimming and padel. Inter-school competitions, friendlies and termly matches are regular features of the programme, and participation in sport is integrated into the Physical Education curriculum and CCAs. The facilities supporting sports are the basketball court, football field and School Hall.
The medium of instruction is English, with additional language courses offered. MIGS has three levels of study: Early Years (3–5), Primary (5–11) and Senior (11–16). The Cambridge Assessment International Education pathway guides progression to A‑Levels, the International Baccalaureate Diploma and top universities worldwide. The New Building expands learning spaces and provides classrooms with Wi‑Fi and multimedia equipment, while the rooftop is an open event space that supports a holistic, 21st‑century learning environment.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) are a core part of MIGS and run weekly on Thursdays; participation is compulsory and CCAs are led by school staff or external specialists, with opportunities for competitive participation. A wide range of Junior School clubs (e.g., First-Aid, Board Games, Needle and Thread, Dance, Drama, Scouts, Storytelling) and Senior School clubs (e.g., Club Français, Chess, Xiangqi, Drama, Financial Literacy, Model United Nations, Speech and Debate, Scouts, Ted Talk, Table Tennis, Puzzle Club) are available. Clubs & Societies emphasize enjoyment, participation and personal development across three terms. Outdoor Education includes field trips and camps for both Junior and Senior students, designed to extend learning outside the classroom, with safety and reputable partners guiding activities. The school also offers a broad array of language, arts, leadership and community activities through the Clubs & Societies, with additional opportunities for off-campus experiences and school productions.
Mutiara International Grammar School (MIGS) offers a British-style education for students aged 3 to 16, following the Cambridge Assessment International Education pathway and culminating in the IGCSE examinations. Facilities include five science laboratories and two computer labs. A distinctive feature of the school is its weekly themed assemblies for both Junior and Senior schools. These assemblies provide a platform for students to develop public speaking, acting, and other theatrical skills. For younger students, there is a "Reading Olympics" to encourage reading.
