Scholarships and Financial Aid

Sunway International Schools offer Academic, Music & Sports, and IBDP Entrance Scholarships, plus a Sixth Form/IB Diploma Entrance Scholarship. Scholarships primarily take the form of tuition-fee waivers (not cash awards). A Grade 7 (Ontario) / Year 8 (Cambridge) scholarship provides a 25% tuition waiver for the January intake; Year 10 Cambridge scholarship can be 25% or 100% depending on eligibility, with a selection process that includes interview and written personal essay. The IBDP Entrance Scholarship amount varies by academic results, with higher results yielding larger tuition waivers, and is available for new admissions into the Sixth Form / IBDP. A Music & Sports Scholarship provides a 25% tuition waiver for qualified students; eligibility requires excellence in a recognized music or sport discipline and meeting other admission criteria. The Family Bursary offers tiered discounts (5% to 15%) for eligible families, including children of alumni and/or siblings, and applies to tuition fees only. How to apply: complete the respective Scholarship Application Form and submit with documents (latest final year results, recommendation letter, etc.) by the published deadlines (1 December for January intake, or 1 June for July intake in some cases); interviews may be required. Eligibility and detailed criteria vary by scholarship type (Grade level, sport/music achievements, exam results, and conduct). These scholarships and bursaries are designed to support students pursuing academic, musical, sports, or IB pathways within Sunway International Schools.
