ASFG has a LEED Gold-certified campus with a range of indoor and outdoor spaces designed for collaborative, project-based learning. The Learning Garden provides hands-on experiences that connect students to food, nature, and climate change. Solar panels and water-saving sensors reduce the campus footprint and support sustainable operation. The campus preserves native species and pollinator habitats, including campus gardens, and features spaces for quiet study, group work and outdoor learning. The building and grounds serve as a living laboratory for sustainability education.
ASFG offers on-campus athletic facilities including an artificial grass soccer field and permeable concrete basketball courts that support physical education and school sports. These spaces enable on-site practice and activities while aligning with the school's environmental goals. The on-campus spaces are designed to accommodate a broad range of PE and athletic programs.
ASFG houses the Lower School Library for nursery through 4th grade and the Upper School Library for grades 5–12, both offering extensive bilingual English/Spanish resources. The libraries provide a mix of print and digital materials to support curriculum, inquiry and reading across the grades. The Upper School Library includes a Makerspace, collaborative teaching spaces and lending technology such as Chromebooks and cameras. The libraries work with teachers to promote literacy and learning through a dynamic, student-centered program.

Earth Week is celebrated annually with cross-disciplinary explorations and sustainability-focused activities. Eco-Race is hosted annually in conjunction with a Farmer's Market. Monarch Waystation and Pollinator Gardens offer on-campus habitats for education and exploration. No Mas Bolsas is a student group that works with local authorities to reduce plastic bag use in Jalisco. Service Learning and other community activities further connect ASFG students with the wider community.
The American School Foundation of Guadalajara (ASFG) is a private, non-profit Asociación Civil offering a PK–12 bilingual, bicultural program. It operates in a secular setting in Mexico, with UNAM validation for the high school program (grades 10–12) and SACS CASI/AdvancED accreditation for pre-K through 12. The curriculum delivers instruction in English and Spanish, and SEJ governs PK–9 under an agreement with UNAM.
