Billing schedule and payment terms
- The network's standard payment options include: Option A — 10 monthly payments (typical vencimiento: 10th of each month); Option B — single annual payment (with a standard early‑payment discount of 6%); Option C — two instalments (with a standard discount of about 3%). Late payment may incur an accumulated monthly surcharge and the school follows the stated due‑date rules (if a due date falls on a holiday/weekend, payment is due the next business day). Parents select among these payment modalities at registration.
Boarding (residency)
- Boarding is not applicable: Cumbres International School México is presented and operated as a day school; no boarding program or boarding fees are published for the Mexico City campus.
Other costs and recurring fees
- Transportation: school transport is an additional cost; schools in the network collect the first month of transport when activating the service and charge transport separately from tuition. Budget for a separate monthly transport fee when required.
- Uniforms, textbook packs, school supplies and specific activity or material fees: these are additional and charged separately (uniforms and materials are not included in inscription or colegiatura). Expect an initial uniform and materials outlay at start of the year and occasional material/technology fees during the cycle.
- Extracurricular activities, special workshops, camps, exam fees, remedial courses, duplicado de certificados and other administrative services are billed separately when applicable.
- Insurance or mandatory contributions (when required) and parent‑association fees may be charged in addition to the items above.
Refunds and cancellations
- Registration/inscription and certain advance payments are normally treated as non‑refundable under the school's standard contractual terms. Refund practice for tuition after a student has started the cycle is governed by the school's contract and administrative rules; some advance payments or instalments may be non‑refundable or only refundable under limited conditions described in the registration agreement.
Accepted payment methods and options
- The school and network accept electronic payments through their administrative/payment portal and allow standard methods such as bank deposit/transfer and card payments; some campuses and the network publish options for annual, semiannual or monthly billing and may offer card instalment plans (for example, 3 or 6 months without interest) or discounts for advance payments. Exact payment channels (bank details, online portal, card acceptance and installment offers) are provided by the admissions/finance office at enrolment.
Summary of what to budget for when enrolling a student (examples, MXN)
- Initial costs: one‑time registration/inscription fee per level (see amounts listed above) plus any application/exam fee, first uniform and materials outlay, and usually the first transport payment if transport is required.
- Recurring costs: monthly colegiatura (or the chosen alternative: annual or two‑payment option), plus transport, extracurriculars, and incidental fees for special activities or services.
(Amounts and billing modalities above reflect the academic-cycle figures published for the 2025/26 cycle for Cumbres International School and the standard payment options used by the Semper Altius school network.)
