The school serves Pre-K through High School students from more than 36 countries. The curriculum is rooted in American pedagogy and best practices. The school maintains multilingualism in English, French, and Arabic. The program aims to equip students with knowledge, skills, and attitudes to serve Morocco and the global community.
Students hone creativity through visual and performing arts across lower and upper schools. Elementary students have Music and Art classes each week; middle school focuses on art, music, and drama; high school offers courses to deepen art, music, and drama. The Visual & Performing Arts department stages a spring musical with middle- and high-school students, with leadership opportunities in set construction, stage crew, and choreography. After-school arts activities include sewing, MakerSpace, pottery, and more.
English, French, and Arabic are taught throughout the school week. English-language subjects and content are taught in English with ELD support as needed, and daily French instruction supports language development. In Grades 6–10, Language A (Language & Literature in English or French) and Language B (English, French, Arabic) are offered, with Language Ab initio (French) also available. In Grades 11–12, students choose at least two languages and may pursue the IB bilingual diploma; other courses continue to be taught in English.
The After School Activities (ASA) program offers a variety of activities and sports for students, including gymnastics, soccer, drama, science, chess, robotics, hip hop, basketball, and arts & crafts. Upper School students can participate in activities such as pottery, 3D Design & Print, Journalism (Yearbook), hip hop, computer science, FIRST LEGO League and World Robot Olympiad robotics, and GWA's School of ROCK. GWA has partnerships with Play & Code Academy, MAD SCIENCE Maroc, Académie de Théâtre Helen O'Grady, Le Petit Champion, GINGA SPORT, and Association TIBU Maroc. The ASA program provides an environment that helps students develop leadership, peer relationships, and decision-making skills.

GWA is a foreign non-profit association registered in Morocco under number 1653 and is governed by a self-perpetuating School Board with parent and local expert involvement; the Annual General Assembly invites all parents. The 2025–2026 Board includes President Kenza Bennis, Treasurer Amane Dannouni, General Secretary Rebecca Geffner, and other members. The University Counseling program supports college planning, career development, and university placement, including guidance on applications and use of Unifrog.
Wellness and Counseling services are provided to support student well-being, alongside a Health Office. Dining services and cafeteria provisions are available as part of student care.
George Washington Academy is a nonprofit American international IB World School serving Pre-K through high school (ages 3 to 18). The curriculum blends American pedagogy with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Advanced Placement courses. English, French, and Arabic are taught across the grades to support multilingualism and global communication. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and has recognition from the Moroccan Ministry of Education. In Grades 11–12, students may follow three graduation pathways toward a U.S. Diploma, with the IB Diploma Programme forming the foundation for college preparation. The five-hectare campus outside Casablanca features Morocco's largest library, modern technology spaces, a Robotics room, a MakerSpace with a 3-D printer, and a LEGO Innovation Center—the only LEGO Center in Morocco and one of two in Africa. The school participates in MASAC athletics and offers a broad program of after-school activities and clubs, including robotics, arts, and language programs.
