Authorized since 2016 to deliver the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (PEI). The IB aims to develop intellectual curiosity, knowledge, and intercultural understanding to help build a more peaceful world. The program comprises eight subject groups and a personal project in the final year, guided by the IB learner profile and learning approaches. The school applies the IB's approaches to learning across the curriculum to help students learn how to learn.
Clubs include Philosophy, Robotics, Sports, Theatre, and Health & Environment. In the IB program, Arts are represented by Visual Arts, Music, and Theatre. The theatre club presents productions such as La Belle au Bois Dormant and Molière revisité par le club théâtre. Art and Craft workshops are part of after-school activities.
Language of instruction includes English and French. The International Baccalaureate program includes Arabic and French for Language and Literature, and English and Spanish for Language Acquisition. An international cultural exchange exists among IB World Schools.
Extracurricular activities are cultural and sports-oriented. The program offers cultural outings and sports activities as part of after-school life. Activities include theatre productions and art workshops, and visits to museums and cultural spaces such as the Villa des Arts.
Service as action is a fundamental element of the IB Middle Years Programme. Its main goal is to train altruistic citizens who contribute to improving life for others and the environment by engaging with the community. Through service-action, students work toward learning objectives, develop collaboration, and enhance international awareness and ethical decision-making.
Orientation Day is a core event to assist future bacheliers in planning their path. The Personal Project in the final year is a mandatory IB requirement that helps students explore a topic, set learning objectives, and produce a tangible product. The school also offers School Coaching to support students, and the IB framework emphasizes learning approaches across the curriculum.
Swimming lessons are offered as part of the physical education program, and there are extensive sports activities including a dedicated Sports Club. The Health & Environment Club is among the after-school clubs. Outdoor and cultural outings, such as visits to gardens, museums, and heritage sites, support well-being and experiential learning.
The Institution El Yakada in Salé offers a bilingual and IB-aligned education across three campuses: El Yakada I, El Yakada II, and Lycée El Yakada. It serves learners from age 3 to 16 and implements the IB MYP for students aged 11–16 since 2016, offering eight groups: Mathematics, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Language and Literature, Acquisition of Language, Physical Education and Health, Design, and Arts. Arabic is the language of instruction, with French as the language and English as a second language. In the primary cycle, Arabic covers all subjects; French is taught about eight hours weekly, and English begins early to meet IB requirements. The school uses diagnostic tests, differentiated learning, and a project-based, inquiry-driven approach to foster intercultural communication and independent learning, supported by a learning environment (Google Classroom, Meet, Forms). Facilities include a Mediathèque, science laboratories, a pool, an auditorium, a prayer room, and a robotics room.
