How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

The admissions process is fully online on efmaroc.org. Admissions decisions are made by commissions that bring together the school heads and the managers of the service in charge of French education. They are made solely on the basis of the families' wishes, and in consideration of available places. Admissions follow a single, mandatory online procedure for all levels (primary, collège, lycée, post-bac). There are two tracks: admission of students from PS to terminale; and admission of students based on their school records from MS to 2nde (MS-GS and CP on interviews; CE1 to 2nde on review of school reports). Registrations for all levels (from PS to terminale) are generally carried out at the start of the calendar year via a single online process on inscriptions.efmaroc.org. Tuition fees for the 2026-2027 school year are: Maternelles — French: 44,000 Dh; Nationals and other nationals: 50,000 Dh; Élémentaires — French: 42,000 Dh; Nationals and others: 51,000 Dh; Collège — French: 46,000 Dh; Nationals and others: 56,000 Dh; Lycée — French: 48,800 Dh; Nationals and others: 60,000 Dh. First-time registration fees: 30,000 Dh for all nationalities and levels, except for the Petite Section of maternelle: 25,000 Dh. Exam fees: For candidates enrolled in French education establishments in Morocco or regulated CNED: Brevet 600 Dh; Epreuves anticipées 600 Dh; Bac 1,300 Dh. For independent candidates, CNED free and students from non-homologated establishments: Brevet 1,000 Dh; Epreuves anticipées 1,200 Dh; Bac 2,500 Dh. Tariffs appear in the PDF. Bourse: The Protection and Social Action Service of the Consulate General of France in Tangier awards scholarships to Tanger AEFE students from Petite Section to Terminale on family request and under certain conditions: The child must be French; be at least 3 years old during the year; reside with the family in Tangier; be registered in the list of French nationals living abroad. Lycée Regnault is a directly managed AEFE secondary school in Tangier, Morocco, serving as the reference point for French education in the city. The school operates across two Tangier sites, Rue Chapi and Rue Allal Ben Abdellah, and follows the French Ministry of National Education homologation hours. With 26 classes and 706 students this year, students progress from 6ème to Terminale to sit the French baccalaureate, enabling study in Morocco, France and beyond. Founded in 1913, it is the oldest French lycée in Morocco and forms the heart of the AEFE Tanger pole, coordinating northern AEFE establishments. The curriculum is French, and the school participates in AEFE mobility programs and projects such as eloquence contests and EUROmad 2026. Distinctive features include the Parcours d'éducation artistique et culturel, expanded language pathways including PARLE, and a strong emphasis on citizenship, health education and inclusive practice. Extracurriculars span sport, arts and international exchanges.
