Lycée Regnault is a directly managed school within the AEFE network. It administers the Tanger pole, the northern AEFE zone in Morocco. It is a reference for French education in Tangier and is undergoing significant development to fulfill the plan for the development of French education abroad and the 2030 milestone set by the President of the Republic. This year the school has 26 classes and 706 students across the levels: 6th grade (4 classes, 91 students); 5th grade (4 classes, 103); 4th (4 classes, 111); 3rd (4 classes, 115); 2nd (4 classes, 112); 1st (3 classes, 93); Terminale (3 classes, 81). Timetables follow the official hours in line with the French Ministry of Education homologation. The school operates at two Tangier sites: 1, Rue Chapi and 13, Rue Allal Ben Abdellah, 90000 Tangier.
The lycée Regnault sports association is dynamic and active, with about 150 students enrolled in activities such as basketball, football, and sailing for all students. Training sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons under the supervision of four PE teachers. Competitions are organized in districts, inter-districts, and finals, bringing together around 1,500 students from various French establishments in Morocco. In the latest competitions, the girls' cadette basketball team were Moroccan champions, the boys' cadet basketball team were Moroccan runners-up, and the minimes and juniors finished third in Morocco.
Priority A aims to pursue educational excellence and pedagogical innovation. The school implements the Artistic and Cultural Education Path and strengthens mastery of the S4C in culture. It promotes inclusion across the school, college, and lycée with continued integration of students with special needs and improved accessibility. It also seeks to harmonize inter-cycle transitions from early years through Terminale, enhance science teaching, and standardize teaching and assessment practices.
