History

Planète Montessori International School in Marrakech operates across three campuses: Agdal, Targa, and MYSK. The school is accredited by the International Baccalaureate for the Primary Years Programme and is BSO-accredited. The Head of School states the goal of providing a dedicated space to develop a love of learning through Montessori philosophy, with a focus on independence, curiosity, motivation and environmental respect. Planète Montessori International School in Marrakech is an IB World School that blends the Montessori programme for ages 1–12 with the International Baccalaureate frameworks, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). The school serves learners from age 1 to 16 and operates across three campuses: Agdal, Targa, and MYSK. It is accredited by the International Baccalaureate for the PYP and is BSO-accredited, with English as the main language of instruction from the Casa (ages 3–6) environment. Arabic and French are taught to support intercultural awareness, and the school follows Moroccan Ministry of National Education guidelines. The MYSK campus features expansive outdoor spaces and a 300-seat amphitheatre, a technology lab, an indoor sport hall, an outdoor field, an art studio, and multiple music rooms. The campus emphasizes inquiry-based learning, independent research, community service, MMUN participation, and a high school expansion plan for the future.
