The campus is located on Yangon-Insein Road and offers a range of services and learning spaces to support the growth and development of students. One learning space is the Early Years Village, designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for a child's educational journey. There is a counselor's office to promote social-emotional well-being and help students navigate personal and social challenges. A technology-focused learning space provides students with tools to succeed in a digital world. An open-concept learning area supports cross-age interaction among multiple grade levels. Learning resources include Brainpop, NewsEla, Mystery Science, Pebblego, Raz-kids, and Epic! to differentiate instruction.
Physical education is part of the curriculum. The PE program includes football, dodgeball, basketball, and tail tag. After-school activities include athletics as part of the School Activities program. The school emphasizes physical activity through these offerings.
Yangon American International School offers Early Years Program, Primary Years Program, and Middle Years Program, with Middle Years candidacy for IB authorization. The IB programs map to the IB framework and to the American Common Core State Standards, providing a solid foundation for higher learning. The school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School for the Middle Years Program.
