Facilities

Resources and spaces that support learning and development

Facilities Overview

The campus is modern and safe, with bright, airy classrooms that encourage interaction. Kadjou Building houses junior classes I to VIII and includes a cafeteria, library, science laboratories, and performing arts rooms, plus a rooftop playground. There are three libraries—one in each of the junior, senior, and IBDP buildings—holding about 20,000 books and resources with online access. Science, computer and digital classrooms support hands-on learning, and ActivBoards provide interactive lessons. An auditorium seats 500 for assemblies and performing arts, and two cafeterias serve hot vegetarian lunches, breakfast for elementary students, and snacks for secondary grades; a fleet of air-conditioned microbuses transports the majority of students (about ninety percent).

Sports Facilities

Kadjou Building provides a rooftop playground with soft rubber flooring for Grades I–III, and it is used by Grades VI–VIII for soft football. The auditorium floor is fitted with rubber mats and serves as a gym for indoor sports such as table tennis, badminton and gymnastics.

Academic Facilities

Biology, chemistry and physics laboratories are well equipped and IBO certified. Computer laboratories in the junior and senior buildings each have 35 computers and high-speed Internet access. Digital classrooms use ActivBoards to enhance lessons and enable Internet connectivity. The libraries in the junior, senior and IBDP buildings hold about 20,000 books and resources.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Performing arts facilities include dedicated rooms in the Kadjou Building and a 500-seat auditorium for performances and assemblies; the auditorium floor also functions as a gym for indoor sports. The Nala Outdoor Learning Center offers nature-based learning at Kavre, with bamboo-structured facilities that can accommodate up to 72 students in bunk beds, a kitchen, meeting hall, hiking trails, and nearby routes for mountain biking; it supports overnight field trips and retreats.
