Amersfoort International School is located at Noordewierweg 235, 3812 DH Amersfoort, in the Soesterkwartier, west of the historic city centre. AIS shares the building with the upper school groups of De Kubus and will eventually occupy the whole Noordewierweg building. The building features a spacious hall and light classrooms and was renovated in the summer of 2023 to reflect AIS's vision and programme. The green playground supports learning through play and inquiry, with AIS students learning alongside De Kubus pupils.

Application fee
- A non-refundable application fee of EUR 250.00 per family is required to begin the admissions review process.
Tuition (annual and per-term detail)
- Annual School Fee for the 2025–2026 academic year: EUR 4,310.00 per student (same published fee across the school's primary year groups).
- Per-term breakdown (calculated examples):
- If the annual fee is divided into three equal termly instalments, each term would be approximately EUR 1,436.67 (EUR 4,310.00 ÷ 3).
- If paid in six equal instalments, each instalment would be approximately EUR 718.33 (EUR 4,310.00 ÷ 6).
- The school also allows payment in up to eight instalments when applicable; the exact instalment amounts and schedule are issued on the invoice. Instalment payments must be completed by March 2026 when the instalment option is used.
Deposit
- A one-time refundable deposit of EUR 500.00 per family is required on enrolment. The deposit is refunded when the student leaves provided all school property has been returned and all financial obligations are settled.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoices for tuition and other fees are issued via email through the school's invoicing platform (WisCollect). Parents receive a secure link to view and download invoices and to monitor payment status. Payments may be made via iDeal (preferred) or bank transfer using the account details shown on the invoice.
- Instalment option: payment of the school fee can be made in instalments; the maximum number of instalments is eight. Instalment requests must follow the payment schedule supplied by the school and must be approved/registered with the finance office. Instalment plans must result in full payment by March 2026.
- Prorated fees for mid-year enrolment: when a student starts after the school year begins, the payable percentage of the annual fee is set by start month as follows (percentage of the annual fee payable):
- August: 100%
- September: 100%
- October: 90%
- November: 80%
- December: 70%
- January: 60%
- February: 50%
- March: 40%
- April: 30%
- May: 20%
- June: 10%
- July: 10%.
Additional costs / other fees
- Deposit-related and event charges:
- School photographer and school photos are charged per event. Various other activities are charged per event as applicable.
- Additional charges that may arise during the year (charged in addition to the annual tuition):
- Unscheduled excursions or special trips.
- Specialist educational support (where required).
- After-school clubs or extracurricular activities not included in the standard tuition package.
- After-school care (BSO) is provided by an external partner (Partou) and costs for childcare/BSO are charged directly by that provider to parents.
- Textbooks, specific curriculum materials or specialised services may incur separate charges if they are required outside the standard curriculum; these are charged on an event- or service-specific basis.
Boarding
- Boarding is not applicable. Amersfoort International School operates as a day primary school for children aged approximately 4–12; there are no boarding facilities and therefore no boarding fees. After-school care is handled by an external childcare partner and is charged separately by that partner.
Withdrawal and refund information
- Notice period: a one-month notice is required to withdraw a student. Unless full notice is given by submitting the leaving form one month in advance, fees will continue to be charged. Example: to withdraw at the end of April, notice must be given before March 31.
- Refund of school fees when withdrawing during the school year (percentage of annual fees paid refunded, provided all obligations are met):
- Withdrawal dates and refund percentages:
- Withdrawal between September and December: 50% refund of annual fees paid.
- Withdrawal in January: 40% refund.
- Withdrawal in February: 30% refund.
- Withdrawal in March: 20% refund.
- Withdrawal in April: 10% refund.
- Withdrawal in May–July: 0% refund.
- The refundable deposit may be retained if contractual notice requirements and other financial obligations are not fulfilled. Refunds are processed only after all school property is returned and all financial obligations are met.
Non-payment consequences
- Failure to meet financial obligations may result in referral to an external debt collection agency (with associated costs charged to the parent/guardian) and potential referral of the student to a public education provider; placement with another provider is not guaranteed.
