Amity International School Amsterdam is a co-educational day school. It does not offer boarding facilities for any of its age groups.
Learning Support Programme with tailored academic, social-emotional and functional support; in-school access to external service providers for speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and school psychologist services; English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for students whose home language is not English
Early Bird Club opens 8:00 am; EY registration 8:15 am; EY/PY lessons start 8:25 am; EY/PY ends 2:45 pm (Fr 12:30 pm). PY4-5 ends 3:35 pm (Fr 12:55 pm). Middle Years 1-5 and Diploma Programme start at 9:00 am and end at 3:35 pm (DP2 may finish 4:40 pm). After School Care Programme runs 5:30 pm (Mon-Thu) and 3:30 pm (Fri). CCAs may extend. Transport times: EY/PY drop-off 8:20 am; MY/DP drop-off 8:35 am; EY/PY pick-up 3:40 pm (Fr 12:55 pm); MY/DP pick-up 3:40 pm.
Door-to-door transport service with Amity-branded vehicles (max eight students per vehicle); licensed, screened drivers; zones A, B, C and X with pro-rata or fixed annual rates; morning drop-off 8:20 am (EY/PY) or 8:35 am (MY/DP); afternoon pick-up 3:40 pm (EY/PY) or 3:40 pm (MY/DP); CCA transport for after-school activities (3:40 pm or 4:40 pm).
Application, Admission & Deposit Fees
- Application fee: € 200 (non-refundable).
- Admission fee: € 350 (payable within 7 days of an offer; non-refundable).
- Deposit: € 2,500 per child (payable within 7 days of an offer). The deposit is refundable within 30 days after the student leaves provided all tuition and other financial obligations are up to date, correct notice has been given according to the school's withdrawal deadlines, and all school property has been returned. The Deposit is not refunded if a student is enrolled but does not attend. Payment of Admission Fee and Deposit must be made in one bank transaction of €2,850.
- Community and Family Association (CFA) fee: € 20 per student per year.
Tuition fees by programme (annual and termly amounts) — Academic year 2025–2026
Annual tuition (total per academic year):
- Early Years (Years EY1–EY3): € 20,240 per year.
- Primary Years (Years P1–P5): € 21,050 per year.
- Middle Years (Years M1–M5): € 22,575 per year.
- Diploma Programme (DP1–DP2): € 25,995 per year.
Termly tuition (when billed termly) and due dates:
- Early Years: Term 1 € 8,096 (due July 20, 2025); Term 2 € 6,072 (due Nov 20, 2025); Term 3 € 6,072 (due Feb 20, 2026). Total € 20,240.
- Primary Years: Term 1 € 8,420 (due July 20, 2025); Term 2 € 6,315 (due Nov 20, 2025); Term 3 € 6,315 (due Feb 20, 2026). Total € 21,050.
- Middle Years: Term 1 € 9,030 (due July 20, 2025); Term 2 € 6,772 (due Nov 20, 2025); Term 3 € 6,772 (due Feb 20, 2026). Total € 22,575.
- Diploma Programme: Term 1 € 10,398 (due July 20, 2025); Term 2 € 7,799 (due Nov 20, 2025); Term 3 € 7,799 (due Feb 20, 2026). Total € 25,995.
Monthly payment option (available only for continuing students from Academic Year 2019–2020):
- Installment schedule (total equals the annual fee):
- Installment 1 (due July 20, 2025): Early Years € 6,072 | Primary € 6,315 | Middle € 6,772 | DP € 7,799.
- Installments 2–8 (due Nov 20, Dec 20, Jan 20, Feb 20, Mar 20, Apr 20, May 20, 2026) split as listed in the school schedule (smaller monthly instalments). A charge of € 50 is applied to each installment invoice for the monthly payment option. Total equals the annual fee for each programme.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Billing options: annual, termly, or (for eligible continuing students) monthly billing. Annual billing is the automatic default unless another option is requested. All invoices are payable in advance on or before the invoice due date. Payments must be made in full without deduction.
- Standard due dates shown in the school's Academic Year 2025–2026 schedule: full-session/annual payment due on July 20, 2025; termly payments due July 20, 2025 (Term 1), Nov 20, 2025 (Term 2), and Feb 20, 2026 (Term 3). Monthly instalment due dates are set out in the school schedule (see monthly instalment dates above).
- Enrollment part-way through the year: the proportion of annual tuition charged depends on start date — 100% if starting before 1 December; 75% if starting on/after 1 December; 45% if on/after 1 March; 25% if on/after 1 May.
- Accepted payment methods: wire transfer (bank transfer) or direct debit. The Deposit must be paid from the parent's personal bank account. All fees are payable in advance against the invoice.
- Late or non-payment: students may be barred from attending classes, activities, examinations or graduation until invoices are settled. Late payments incur an annual default interest of 10% and a € 50 reminder fee after the second reminder; collection costs incurred by the school will be charged to the parents.
Other costs and additional fees
- Mandatory school uniform: uniforms are mandatory and charged separately; actual uniform costs vary and are billed through the school's uniform provider.
- Optional/extra charges (examples and typical categories): transportation (optional door-to-door services), school lunches, after-school care, overnight residential trips, extracurricular or co-curricular activities run by external providers, yearbook. These items are charged in addition to tuition when applicable.
- Learning Support / SEN fees (where additional support is required): fees are structured by tiers (Appendix B). Example annual tiered SEN fees for 2025–2026: Tier A € 40,125; Tier B € 29,970; Tier C € 20,150; Tier D € 9,850. Termly and installment schedules for these tiers are set out in Appendix B; parents will be advised of any extra fees if additional support is required.
- Monthly payment administration: a € 50 charge is added to each monthly installment invoice when the monthly payment option is used.
Refunds and withdrawal rules
- Application fee and admission fee: non-refundable and not credited to tuition. Deposit: refundable subject to conditions (all fees paid up to date, correct notice given per withdrawal deadlines, and return of school property). The deposit is refunded within 30 days after the student leaves if conditions are met; the deposit is not refunded if a student is enrolled but does not attend.
- No refunds of tuition are available for absence because of illness, expulsion, disciplinary measures, or other circumstances not attributable to the school.
- Withdrawal notice requirements (to avoid being charged the following term in full):
- To leave after 31 December, notify the school by 1 September.
- To leave after 31 March, notify the school by 1 January.
- To leave at the end of the academic year (24 June), notify the school by 1 May. If these notification deadlines are not met, the following term's tuition fees are due in full.
Amity International School Amsterdam is an IB World School offering the full IB Continuum — Primary Years (PYP), Middle Years (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) — for students aged 3 to 18. Classes are taught primarily in English, with Dutch taught weekly as the host country language and French offered as an additional language. The school follows an inquiry-based approach designed to cultivate independence, curiosity and critical thinking, aligned with the IB Learner Profile.
