Boarding is available for boys and girls in dedicated hostels. Boarders share bedrooms with three to four other students, and each room includes a desk and chair. A Matron/Patron and a House Master/Mistress supervise hostel life, with a defined boarding routine from rising at 5:30am to lights out around 9:15pm, including prep, meals, and study time. Exeat forms are required to leave the boarding house, signed by the Matron/Patron and counter-signed by senior staff; parents are expected to take their child home for holidays, with prior notice for mid-term breaks.
Uniform Code is compulsory for students in Years 7–12. Monday and Tuesday require Full School Uniform with blazer, including blazer with the school monogram, white shirt and tie, black shoes and belt; Thursday is Proper P.E. Uniform with a House vest, shorts, white canvas shoes and black socks; Fridays and Sundays use the school native attire with jeans. Girls wear a uniform that includes a blazer, school skirt, white shirt and tie, black socks or panty hose, and black shoes; there are hair/clothing guidelines and restrictions on accessories.
All meals are compulsory and served in the dining hall. Day students do not bring lunch, except in high-allergy cases confirmed by the school doctor; meals are included in regular fees. Packed meals can be arranged for sports or other activities that cause a meal to be missed, with notice to the Patron/Matron.
Students are organized into houses overseen by a House Master/Mistress and hostel staff. A range of house duties and activities run daily, with termly house events; at the start of each term a list of activities for the house is produced and coordinated by staff.
