Boarding Arrangements

Residential accommodation is on the Temple College campus with live-in House Managers providing pastoral care. Rooms are equipped with single beds and adjoining reading tables to house up to 15 students. The residence offers a safe, structured living environment with easy access to lessons, balanced meals, weekend recreational and sporting activities, and opportunities to live with students from different backgrounds to foster independence.

Uniform Requirement

Uniforms vary by level. Primary pupils wear a traditional uniform: Girls wear Blue Blouse and Blue Pinafore; Boys wear Blue Shirt and Blue Shorts; Socks are navy blue or black; Navy sweaters are allowed; Black shoes with Velcro straps. Sportswear is a T-shirt in House colours; Houses are assigned and House colours appear on sportswear; All uniforms are purchased in the Uniform Shop located in the Early Years building in Ilupeju. Temple College has no standard uniform; a smart business-like dress code is required: khaki (chino) trousers or knee-length skirts, blue dress shirts, and navy blazers.

Food Options

Lunch is served daily. The Temple School Lunch Menu lists daily dishes such as white rice with stew, white spaghetti with minced meat sauce, yam pottage, Eba, beans, and other Nigerian dishes. Balanced meals are provided as part of the on-site meals in the residential setting.

House System

Temple School uses a House system; House colours are assigned for sportswear, and pupils wear a Temple School T-shirt in their House colour for sports; Houses are assigned to pupils for school activities.

Governance and Ownership

Temple School operates as a network of four Lagos campuses: two in Ilupeju, one in Ikeja, and one on Allen Avenue. It is overseen by a Senior Management Team led by a Founding Director, with named leaders across education, administration, and other departments.

Temple School is a private international school in Lagos, Nigeria, educating children from 0 to 18 across four campuses in Ilupeju and Ikeja. It blends the British National Curriculum with Cambridge programmes (Primary, Secondary, IGCSE and A Levels); AP where appropriate, alongside a bespoke curriculum. The primary section follows the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) for English, Maths, Science and ICT, with additional subjects including History, Geography, French from age 2, RE, Citizenship, Design and Technology, Art, Music and Physical Education. French is introduced early to support international perspectives. The school operates four campuses with a Sixth Form College offering on-site residential accommodation. Facilities include two 25m swimming pools, science and ICT labs, Design Technology labs, Art studios, Music rooms, a library, plus Cisco Teleconferencing and Live Video Streaming labs. Co-curriculars feature swimming, taekwondo, drama, debating and contemporary dance, and an emphasis on leadership and community service through enrichment programs.
