Academic and Intellectual

The school offers after-school academic boosters and language support. IGCSE Biology and Chemistry are offered to reinforce subject knowledge and prepare students for externally assessed examinations. English and Arabic reading and writing courses support bilingual literacy. English and Spanish are available as foreign languages.

Arts and Creative

After School Activities include Creativity and Technology. Students have access to cooking in food technology, piano lessons, and visual arts workshops. The robotics and Lego-lab prepare students to participate in competitions at national and international levels.

Social and Hobbies

The House System fosters school spirit and teamwork through four houses: Yellow Eagles, Blue Dolphins, Red Leopards, Green Oryx. Students across KG to Grade 10 are assigned to a house, ensuring representation across ages. House activities include competitions integrated into sporting events and arts projects, contributing to a connected school culture.

Community and Service

NWIS opens its campus to the wider community through family-focused events such as Sustainability Day, International Fair, and Cafe Latte. These events connect families with teachers and staff and provide opportunities for parents to participate in learning activities during science fairs, sports competitions and STEAM workshops.

Leadership and Professional

The House System provides opportunities for collaboration and leadership through inter-house activities and cross-age participation. The system fosters leadership and teamwork across KG to Grade 10. Participation in house events and competitions supports student development in communication and organizational skills.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The Sports and life skills block includes Quran, Yoga, Swimming or Taekwondo, supported by purpose-built facilities. The program promotes physical health, wellness and spiritual development. The structured activities and facilities support holistic well-being.
