American School is a bilingual intercultural institution authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) alongside a Bilingual Education Program (PEB). The school serves Inicial (early years), Primaria (primary), and Secundaria (secondary) levels. English is taught as a foreign language and is integrated across curricular areas, reinforcing language development in all subjects. In Secondary, students engage in critical thinking and inquiry through a mix of Flipped Classroom, Project-Based Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Case-Based Learning; transversal skills such as initiative, teamwork, empathy, communication, and leadership are developed through interdisciplinary projects and monograph-writing.
