American School is a bilingual intercultural institution authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) alongside a Bilingual Education Program (PEB). The school serves Inicial (early years), Primaria (primary), and Secundaria (secondary) levels. English is taught as a foreign language and is integrated across curricular areas, reinforcing language development in all subjects. In Secondary, students engage in critical thinking and inquiry through a mix of Flipped Classroom, Project-Based Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Case-Based Learning; transversal skills such as initiative, teamwork, empathy, communication, and leadership are developed through interdisciplinary projects and monograph-writing. The campus hosts an Eco Sports Center for physical activity, a library, and a cafeteria, with on-site nursing and security services and biosecurity protocols. Extracurriculars include Workshops and Social Action, and the School Coexistence program to support student life.
