Facilities Overview

The campus is located in the district of Cachimayo, half an hour from Cusco, on a 5,000 m² site. Each space is designed for the comfort, well-being, and development of the school community. The campus is set in natural landscapes and features ornamental and medicinal plants in offices, corridors, patios, a nursery, an amphitheater and surrounding walls. Classrooms are spacious, modern, bright and connected; every classroom includes Wi‑Fi to support inquiry and online learning. The science laboratory is equipped for a variety of experiments, and two plastic arts rooms foster creativity.

Sports Facilities

The school has sports and recreation areas adapted for every level, including courts and a coliseum with bleachers, plus quiet spaces for rest and reflection. The campus environment includes a garden where students participate in plant care. The Deporte y Educación Física program lists competitive disciplines such as Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Athletics, Field Tennis, Table Tennis, Swimming, Chess, Futsal, and Basketball. Students have earned national prizes and competed in South American events across multiple sports. The extracurricular sports program supports teamwork, discipline and active participation across these activities.

Academic Facilities

The school offers spacious, modern, well‑lit classrooms with Wi‑Fi to support learning and online research. The science laboratory provides equipment for a variety of experiments. There are two plastic arts rooms designed to inspire creativity. The Center of Resources includes a library with physical and digital bibliographic resources, plus access to board games to support learning. The campus also provides study and reading spaces to promote inquiry and collaboration.

Extra-Curricular Activities

The school participates in interschool competitions, including the 2024 School Sports Games and Paradeportivos, with students representing the school in individual and team events across disciplines. The sports offering includes Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Athletics, Field Tennis, Table Tennis, Swimming, Chess, Futsal, and Basketball. Students have achieved national awards and competed in South American events in disciplines such as Taekwondo, Karate, Gymnastics, Chess, Basketball, Football, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Athletics, Downhill, and Climbing. The extracurricular program emphasizes sport, teamwork and personal development through active participation in competitive and recreational activities.

Andino Cusco International School is an IB World School in Cusco, Peru, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3 to 12 and the Diploma Programme (DP) at the end of secondary. From Inicial, students benefit from English immersion, and in the Primary level a Dual Bilingual Program teaches content in English while Cambridge exam preparation is integrated into regular classes. In the Secondary, English proficiency is aligned with the CEFR within standard classes to support study at international institutions. The school has been an IB World School since 2014, the first private IB school in Cusco and the region. 5,000 m² campus in Cachimayo combines natural landscapes with modern facilities: bright classrooms with Wi‑Fi, a well‑equipped science laboratory, two plastic arts rooms, a Center of Resources library, an amphitheater, gardens, and dedicated study and reading spaces. Extracurriculars emphasize sport and teamwork, with interschool competitions and Cambridge Center involvement.
