Application fees and entrance payments
- Application fee (one-time, non-refundable, non-transferable): USD 500 per student.
- Entrance fee (one-time, non-transferable): USD 19,500 per student. A USD 1,000 deposit is required in advance; this USD 1,000 deposit is refundable if the student is not accepted. Once the student is accepted, the balance of the entrance fee (entrance fee minus the USD 1,000 deposit) must be paid before the student starts school.
Tuition fees by school division (annual and monthly) — Academic year 2025–2026
- Early Childhood (EC3 – EC4): Annual tuition USD 16,800. Monthly equivalent USD 1,680.
- Elementary (Kindergarten – Grade 5): Annual tuition USD 18,150. Monthly equivalent USD 1,815.
- Secondary (Grades 6 – 12): Annual tuition USD 19,030. Monthly equivalent USD 1,903. Seniors (Grade 12) pay the annual tuition in nine monthly installments; the senior monthly installment amount is USD 2,114 under that schedule.
- Tuition incentive (single annual payment discount for 2025–2026, if paid by the school's specified deadline): Early Childhood USD 16,464; Elementary USD 17,787; Secondary USD 18,649.
Optional transportation fees
- Annual transportation (round trip, optional): USD 1,935 per student; monthly equivalent USD 215.
- Annual transportation (one way, optional): USD 1,395 per student; monthly equivalent USD 155.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Regular tuition billing: Tuition may be paid in ten monthly installments (July–December and March–June). The payment deadline for each installment is the last day of the billed month. Seniors follow a nine-installment schedule (July–December and March–May).
- Matriculation fee: The matriculation fee equals one month's tuition (the July tuition amount) and is due on July 31. New students accepted after the school year begins must pay a matriculation fee equivalent to one month's tuition.
Boarding
- Boarding is not applicable: Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt operates as a day school and does not provide boarding/residential facilities.
Other costs and typical additional fees
- Uniforms: Official school uniforms are required for all students except Grade 12 (seniors have different clothing guidelines). Uniforms are sold through the school's approved suppliers (Casa Helena, Abugattas Sport and Uniformes y Punto x MCA); prices are set by those suppliers.
- Optional after-school activities, ASA/extra-curricular program fees, field trips, school lunch/food services, and incidental school supplies or course-specific materials may incur additional charges; transportation (bus service) is optional and billed separately as noted above. Refund information
- The USD 1,000 entrance-fee deposit is refundable if the student is not accepted; if the student is accepted and the parents later decline the opening, the USD 1,000 deposit is non-refundable. When an entrance-fee refund is applicable, the school will inform parents of the refund process and the amount to be refunded in accordance with internal regulations and applicable legal provisions.
Fee payment options and banking instructions
- Accepted payment channels for entrance and application payments include paying in person at Scotiabank branches (using the school's designated payment concept), Scotiabank online payments via the bank's payments portal (Pagos → Otras Instituciones → Colegios), transfers from other local banks into the school's Scotiabank account, and manager's cheque (cheque de gerencia) deposited at Scotiabank. For international transfers use the school's SWIFT details and add the specified amount for bank commission as instructed by the school. Proof of deposit or transfer should be emailed as instructed by the school's finance office. Specific banking details provided for transfers are:

Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt, The American School of Lima, is an independent international school for ages 3 to 18 that combines a U.S.-based college-preparatory program with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Instruction is in English, with the Official Peruvian Program (OPP) offered in Spanish and accredited by the Peruvian Ministry of Education. In high school, students may pursue the IB Diploma or select individual IB subjects, and the junior and senior years include Innovation Academy, a transdisciplinary path in Media, English and Humanities, followed by Economics and Marketing and a year of Business Entrepreneurship and Philosophy. Graduates earn the U.S. Diploma and may also receive the Official Peruvian Certificate of Studies and the IB Diploma. The campus sits on 23 acres in La Molina, Lima, with facilities including a swimming pool, Early Childhood Center, a Performing Arts Center, and library/media center. The school hosts athletics, arts, clubs, and service programs.
