The campus is a 23-acre site in Camacho, La Molina, Lima. The Master Facilities Plan includes a swimming pool, Early Childhood Center, and a Performing Arts Center. The plan also updated playgrounds, pick-up/drop-off areas, and parking, and added the Commons, Roosevelt Elementary School, and a Parking Garage. Condor Plaza was added in 2022 and supports physical education, gymnastics, alumni events, PTA programs, senior graduation, art exhibitions, and community-wide activities. In 2025, in preparation for a new High School Building, improvements to the Commons for Technology and Innovation, the Middle School/High School Library/Media Center, a Data Center, and a new gym floor were advanced.
The athletics program builds physical skills, coordination, and teamwork through a variety of sports. Elementary students take part in many sports events and may join after-school activities (ASA) ranging from Arts & Crafts to Chess Club to Capoeira. Elementary students can join Condor Athletics Teams for more competitive sports. Middle School and High School students can take up sports and activities with the Condor Athletics & Activities Team and compete against other schools in Lima, including tournaments such as ADCA and ADECORE. Roosevelt hosts large-scale competitions such as SAAC, and students in activities like MUN compete in local and international events.
Libraries foster inclusive, vibrant spaces that support curiosity, exploration, and lifelong learning for all Condors. Learning @ FDR covers Early Childhood through High School with a curriculum and programs in English and Spanish. The Middle School/High School Library/Media Center provides dedicated spaces for research and study, and a Data Center supports campus technology and operations. The Master Facilities Plan includes a High School Building and upgrades to the Library/Media Center and other academic spaces to enhance instructional environments.
The Condor Athletics & Activities program offers extensive opportunities across athletics and after-school activities. Elementary students participate in numerous sports events and ASA activities such as Arts & Crafts, Chess Club, Capoeira, and Artistic Grooves. Elementary students may join Condor Athletics Teams for more competitive sports. Middle School and High School students pursue sports and activities with the Condor Athletics & Activities Team and compete locally and internationally in events like SAAC. Clubs, Honor Societies, and Service Projects, along with events such as MUN, provide additional competitive and service opportunities.
Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt, The American School of Lima, is an independent international school for ages 3 to 18 that combines a U.S.-based college-preparatory program with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Instruction is in English, with the Official Peruvian Program (OPP) offered in Spanish and accredited by the Peruvian Ministry of Education. In high school, students may pursue the IB Diploma or select individual IB subjects, and the junior and senior years include Innovation Academy, a transdisciplinary path in Media, English and Humanities, followed by Economics and Marketing and a year of Business Entrepreneurship and Philosophy. Graduates earn the U.S. Diploma and may also receive the Official Peruvian Certificate of Studies and the IB Diploma.
