Since 1969, Reina del Mundo is a Catholic Peruano-German school in La Molina, founded by the Sisters Missionaries of Saint Vincent de Paul from Hildesheim, Germany. It offers personalized education that blends high academic standards with formation in Catholic human values. The school counts about 980 students in two shifts and has progressed through milestones such as German government certifications (DSD I and II), first exchanges with Germany, the inauguration of a new Kindergarten, the first EFQM quality certification, the Diploma of the Bachillerato, the development of science laboratories and a new pavilion, and the inauguration of a chapel. The history reflects a long-running intercultural mission guided by Vincentian values.
The Reinamundista community connects families with the school through the RedAlumni network and family-oriented activities. Intercultural exchanges include a student exchange with Himmelsthfcr, Germany. The school hosts and participates in events such as Jugend debattiert in Südamerika and RDM MUN 2023, reflecting a culture of debate and global engagement. Sports and other activities are part of the community, including national Handball champions representing the school.
Padres delegados (PEAS) are classroom parent representatives who act as a bridge between families and the school. They promote closeness and family commitment within the educational community. From their role, they collaborate in organizing activities assigned by the school to integrate the graduating class. Reina del Mundo is a Catholic Peruano-German coeducational school in La Molina, Lima, promoted by the Congregation of Missionary Sisters of Saint Vincent de Paul from Hildesheim, Germany. The school combines its Peruano-German heritage with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for upper secondary students (years IV and V). It has IB World School status since 2003 and offers this program alongside a Catholic curriculum and Vincentian formation, with project-based learning and intercultural experiences. The campus serves about 980 students in two shifts and features facilities to support academic, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth: a dining hall, a full soccer field, a green field, and a Kindergarten area with psychomotor spaces, art facilities, a light room, a courtyard, and classrooms; plus an entry chapel, green courtyards, and technology rooms. German and English are taught, with DSD I and II and Cambridge English certifications. Extracurriculars include arts, sports, and service, such as BER and Model United Nations.
