The school is a Peruvian–French, secular and coeducational institution founded on November 26, 1981 by Mme. Mari Blanca Gregori Astiz de Pinto. It prioritizes the arts and the French language, while also teaching English. It offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the fourth and fifth years of secondary and serves as a Cambridge examination center. From the fifth grade, students take the DELF Prim exams, and in secondary the DELF A1, A2, B1, and B2 exams, certificates issued by the French Ministry of Education and recognized internationally by the Alliance Française.
Creativity is a central axis of development. The school promotes artistic expression through painting, music, theatre, choir, and dance from preschool through the fifth year of secondary. It introduces students to the language of music via singing, instrumental practice, and listening; painting and theatre are essential to their formation. Dance develops physical capacity, coordination, psychomotor skills, and cultural awareness.
Intercambio Cultural includes Green Classes: study trips to different points in Peru to deepen knowledge of the country and foster attitudes of environmental conservation and improvement. Travel to France occurs after completing secondary to finish humanistic formation and experience French culture. Cultural Cafés bring personalities from the worlds of arts, letters, and sciences to the school. Convenios include the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, Cambridge, Alliance Française, PUCP Language Center, Olweus, Universidad de Lima, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and other exchanges or collaborations with Canada and Peru.
Sports are fundamental to the education of our students and contribute to their physical, mental, social, and emotional development. They foster teamwork, respect, participation, and positive attitudes. Students practice tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball, athletics, ping-pong, chess, and swimming.
