Sports are fundamental to students' development; they are an educational instrument for physical, mental, social, and emotional growth. Students practice tennis, soccer, basketball, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, chess, and swimming.
French is taught from Maternelle; from primary onward and more deeply in secondary, topics in French literature and civilization are studied. From the 5th grade, students take the DELF Prim exam; in secondary, DELF A1, A2, B1 and B2, depending on language level. These are official diplomas certified by the French Ministry of National Education and recognized internationally, awarded by the Alliance Française. English is taught with the same language-learning approach; students sit Cambridge B2 First (FCE) certificates; this certification is awarded by Idiomas PUCP. Art emphasizes creativity through painting, music, theatre, choir and dance; music includes singing and instrumental practice; painting and theatre are essential; dance enhances physical ability, coordination, psychomotor skills, and cultural understanding. Green Classes: study trips to various parts of Peru to deepen knowledge of Peru and develop attitudes of environmental conservation and improvement. Travel to France: at the end of secondary, students travel to complete their humanistic formation and experience French culture. Collège André Malraux is a Peruvian‑French, secular, co‑educational school founded on November 26, 1981 by Mari Blanca Gregori Astiz de Pinto.
