El Pinar College established the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme by inaugurating a Center of Investigation designed to meet its requirements. The Center provides a research-focused environment that supports student initiatives and a global perspective within the IB framework. The IB program develops critical thinking, stimulates curiosity and enhances problem-solving abilities to prepare students as future leaders. We are now a World School.

Volunteering at El Pinar College is provided through VolunTeach Peru, which coordinates volunteers for 27 schools across Peru and places British university students with host families to practice English. Since 2015 the school coordinates English-language volunteer visits, with host families offering lodging and cultural exchange. Coordination for volunteer visits is managed by the English Department and school leadership; All parents can become host families by registering with the organization.
Houses system provides leadership opportunities and student involvement across levels. Interhouses events require planning, teamwork and leadership from student delegates. These experiences complement academic study and foster skills in collaboration, communication and project management.
