Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school has a Psychopedagogical Department with Psychology Coordination and level-based psychologists who support students in developing cognitive, academic, social, and emotional skills. It provides guidance to teachers and parents to contribute to the student's holistic development. Follow-up is conducted through interviews, observations, and assessments; if learning difficulties arise, parents are informed and external referrals and follow-up are carried out. Tutoring addresses the social and emotional needs across development stages, offering a space for reflection and dialogue that fosters values, wellbeing, and community. Classroom rules (Golden Rules) emphasize Respect, Responsibility and Rights as the foundation for democratic coexistence and a culture of peace, and tutors work with psychology leaders with weekly coordination. In Early Years, Primary, and Secondary, tutors help students develop habits such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and study skills; soft skills like empathy, leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation are promoted to support well-being.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Students communicate in their mother tongue, Spanish as a second language, and English as a foreign language.

Mental Wellbeing

Mental wellbeing is supported through ongoing socio-emotional support by the psychologists and tutoring that promotes emotional regulation, resilience, and social-emotional skills.

The campus supports modern learning with technology-equipped classrooms, science and computing laboratories, libraries, auditorium, a creative arts room, and sports facilities including soccer, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. The school runs a four-house system (Griffin, Phoenix, Pegasus, Minotaur) with Interhouse competitions and parent involvement.
