Foundational information about the school

Location

Cebu International School is located in Pit-os, Cebu City, Philippines . The campus sits on a 3.2-hectare site in the northwest suburbs of Cebu City and opened at this location in 2000. The on-site campus includes a 40-bed Student Residence and is within a guarded, walled campus.

Levels

Early Years (EY2–EY3) for ages 3–4; Primary Years (Kindergarten–Grade 5); Middle Years (Grade 6–10); Diploma Programme (Grade 11–12). The school follows the IB continuum across these levels. CIS is a private international school that operates as a day school and also offers on-site boarding for older students; a CIS Student Residence on campus provides housing for Grades 7–12. The residence is on-site and accommodates students with full, weekly, and nightly options.

Additional Learning Support

CIS provides Learning Needs Support on a case-by-case basis, with a dedicated Learning Needs Coordinator and a tiered support structure (Tier 1–3). Billing schedule and payment terms

- Payment options upon enrolment: pay in full, quarterly, or select staggered instalments (staggered instalments available by arrangement). Tuition may be paid in full or by quarterly payments.
- What is due on enrolment: Returning students pay the full Dollar Fee, Development Fee and Quarter 1 Tuition Fee. New students pay the full Dollar Fee, Development Fee, Entrance Fee and Quarter 1 Tuition Fee.
- Standard quarterly due dates (published billing schedule):
- Quarter 1: upon enrollment.
- Quarter 2: October 1, 2025.
- Quarter 3: December 3, 2025.
- Quarter 4: March 4, 2026.
- Late payment charge: PHP 500 fixed penalty plus 2% per month on unpaid amounts, compounded monthly and prorated by days overdue.
- Early payment incentive: a 5.0% discount on the TOTAL PESO FEE is offered for eligible families who meet the early payment deadline as published for the year. Sibling discount: families with three or more legal dependents enrolled may receive a 5% discount on the third and subsequent dependents.

Boarding / Student Residence

- A Student Residence (on/near campus) is operated for students who board. Published tuition/fee documents do not list a boarding rate in the standard fee schedule; boarding-place enquiries and the Student Residence information pack are provided through the residence contact. Refund policy

- The Dollar Fee, Entrance Fee, Development Fee, EAL and Learning Support fees are consumed when a student enters and are not refundable if the student leaves before the school year ends. Only Tuition Fees are eligible for refund, and then only for any full quarter(s) not attended. Any payment discounts previously granted will be forfeited and deducted from tuition refunds. There are no refunds for absences, withdrawals, dismissals or partial attendance within a quarter. In force majeure circumstances the school's force-majeure refund provisions apply; the school may take up to two years to process eligible refunds under those conditions.

Other administrative notes on fees

- Proration rules on entry/withdrawal: first-semester entries are billed as full school fees (Dollar Fee, Entrance Fee and Development Fee) plus prorated Tuition; second-semester proration is specified in the published schedule (third quarter billed at 75% of certain school fees, fourth quarter at 50%, with tuition prorated accordingly). No portion of quarter fees paid or outstanding will be refunded or cancelled for absence, withdrawal, dismissal or partial attendance within that quarter.
