English is the language of instruction in all subjects from kindergarten to senior high, while Chinese and Filipino are compulsory subjects throughout K-12 for local and Filipino-Chinese students. The school offers an English Language Acquisition (EAL) program with multiple proficiency levels and a formal progression toward mainstream inclusion for students whose home language is not English. Non-native English learners are assessed on entry and may enter EAL with a pathway to regular core subjects once they meet language proficiency criteria; this progression aligns with IB/MYP language standards. The school also supports mother tongue development and cultural language programs through activities such as Filipino Language Month and Chinese language activities, in addition to EAL support. Foreign students must meet English language requirements to access language programs and/or regular core subjects, with minimums defined by the MYP language acquisition framework.
Hope Christian High School maintains a multilingual language policy that seeks to develop English, Chinese, and Filipino proficiency among students. English is the language of instruction across Kindergarten through Senior High. Chinese and Filipino are compulsory subjects from kindergarten through grade 12 for local and Filipino-Chinese students. The school aims for bilingual proficiency in English and the student's mother tongue, with a third language developed to a reasonably high level.
