The MIIS campus is Council of International Schools (CIS) accredited with full accreditation. CIS accreditation indicates the school meets high international standards for professional performance in international education and is committed to continual improvement; MIIS began the accreditation process in 2015, underwent an external evaluation in 2017, and was awarded full CIS accreditation at a ceremony in 2018. MIIS is described as the first CIS-accredited school in Quezon City. The school also holds dual accreditation from the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) and CIS, reflecting alignment with both national and international education standards.
In the past five years, MIIS has publicly announced several school-level recognitions: (1) 2025 Harvard Crimson Global Quiz Bowl – Global Champion Team (Middle School), recognizing MIIS as world champions in the World History Division among 2,000+ participants from 35+ countries; (2) 2026 Harvard Model Congress Asia – Best Delegate Award and Presidential Cabinet Award, awarded to a MIIS student for exceptional performance and a standout resolution in HMCA 2026; and (3) 2021 FedEx/JA International Trade Challenge – Top 3 in the national competition, highlighting MIIS students' entrepreneurship and business skills within a joint school program.
MIIS is a progressive international school offering programs from Pre-K to 12. It was established in 1996 and operates from two campuses in Quezon City: the Main Campus in Loyola Heights and an Upper School campus on Katipunan Avenue. A Parklinks campus in Pasig City is planned, targeting SY 2026–2027. MIIS follows a unique education framework based on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, with a strong emphasis on leadership, social responsibility, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. The program spans Preschool through Senior High School, with a Senior High School that includes HUMSS and a General Academic Strand; the school holds dual accreditation from the Philippine Department of Education and the Council of International Schools. The language-support policy notes English and Filipino for international families, and English proficiency is required for foreign students. MIIS highlights small class sizes and a blend of hands-on, real-world learning, plus a range of clubs and competitions to develop students' intelligences and leadership.
