The language of instruction is English across the IB programmes. Mandarin and Spanish are available as Language Acquisition courses in the MYP. Filipino is offered in two tracks—Language and Literature and Language Acquisition—within the MYP, and is also available in the DP as a Language Acquisition option. In the Diploma Programme, language acquisition includes Filipino, Mandarin, and Spanish.
The Beacon Academy uses English as the language of instruction across the IB programmes. Filipino is offered in two complementary tracks—Language and Literature and Language Acquisition—across the MYP and Diploma Programme (DP), tailored to students' backgrounds and proficiency levels. The IB Learner Profile emphasizes expressing oneself in more than one language, reflecting the school's multilingual environment.
Mandarin and Spanish language acquisition is delivered through immersive activities in the MYP (Grades 7-10). In the Diploma Programme (DP), Language Acquisition includes Filipino, Mandarin, and Spanish delivered through immersive learning experiences. These immersion-based language programs help students develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills and intercultural understanding. Languages offered for immersion include Mandarin, Spanish, and Filipino.
