Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Victory Christian International School (VCIS) was founded in 2000 as Victory Christian School by Victory, a non-denominational Christian church, under Bishop Manny Carlos. In 2010, it was renamed Victory Christian International School (VCIS). In 2012, the institution began offering a Homeschool Program. VCIS operates under the Victory church's umbrella and has described its mission around developing Christian character, academic excellence, and leadership development. For over two decades, VCIS has been the home of servant leaders in a Christian environment.

Community

VCIS cultivates a close-knit community through its on-campus and online programs, with activities and events that bring families together. VCIS Online highlights activities such as field trips, Buwan ng Wika, United Nations Day, Commencement, Moving Up Day, and student clubs and leadership opportunities through the student council. Public posts from VCIS also showcase family-friendly events such as the VCIS Retreat, RockOlympics, and year-end fairs, reflecting active engagement of students and parents.

Parent-Teacher Association

Public information identifies the school's parental involvement primarily through VCIS's Home Study program, which supports home-based learners. Parents have exclusive access to the VCIS HomeStudy online community and receive training on HomeStudy teaching strategies, with guidance and recommendations from other parents and professionals. Within Home Study, parents collaborate with the school on activities such as chapel periods, RockOlympics, Family Fun Day, field trips, digital film festivals, and interschool competitions. Public posts from VCIS also highlight events that involve families, including the retreats and the RockOlympics, illustrating active participation by parents and students. Overall, parental involvement at VCIS appears organized around experiential events, leadership activities, and home-based partnerships that align with the school's Christian character and academic focus.
